I think I love eerie effects — when I control them. Not in horror movies, or even scary stories! I hate those. But just plain eerie effects? Here are some. (Or maybe it’s a twisted sense of humor. You decide.)
Who’s been eating my breakfast sandwich? said the Momma Bear.
Who’s been eating my green peas? said the Baby Bear.
Who’s about to nibble on my wrist? asked Tom.
And what about these flickering candles? What’s causing them to flicker so wildly? (Sinister laugh should accompany photo.)
Do you not eat the pea pods when you consume the peas?
No. Hmmm. Do you?
I eat the pods of sugar snap peas, and the whole of snow peas. But not the pods of what sometimes they call English peas.
I guess I’ve never had fresh “English peas”, now that I think about it. Only sugar snap and snow peas, where the whole pod is consumed. Hmm… interesting!
When I was a kid, no one had ever heard of sugar snap and snow peas! The peas we ate were English peas, but we just called them green peas.
Now no one’s ever heard of just plain green peas!
Life is interesting, isn’t it?
Growing up, we did eat “plain green peas” – but they were always out of a can, never fresh.
Ah, yes, those too — and I loved them!
(Not now, I don’t think.)
Fabulous set of photos just right for the prompt!
You have a twisted sense of humor too, Julia!!!!!!!
🙂
Always a twist. ;-). Fun – and funny – stuff.
😉
Very cute! That is one SUPER SIZED butterfly. Ahhh!
Funny comment, Angelia. I think I’ll call the photo The Attack of the Giant Butterfly.
