Weekly Photo Challenge: UP (1)

For someone short, looking down on anyone or anything isn’t really in the cards. We bounce on tiptoe in crowds, trying to catch glimpses of any action. (Usually we don’t manage it.) We are used to looking up! At the ceiling, at the sky, at trees, at buildings, at other people. So this challenge suits me to a T. Here’s the first offering —

In honor of the spring that has finally made it to the Pioneer Valley, here is a photo I call “Spring Happens!”

Wow, that’s an awesome photo – nature at it’s best!

  3. Naomi says:

We had snow today, so this is a very cheering picture. Thanks.

Snow! Where are you, Naomi? In Minnesota? I can’t think where else there’s snow on the verge of May in the Northern Hemisphere!

      • Naomi says:

Dundas, Ontario, Canada. And it’s NOT typical to get snow on the verge of May – this is just the winter that will never die. I’m looking at gardening books and pictures of Spring elsewhere to compensate.

You’re right, the winter that will never die!
Even down here — with the sun shining today and violets peeping out from the grass — it’s FREEZING.
(Will google Dundas, Ontario, later today 🙂

  4. At a snail’s pace, but at least, it happens!
    Fabulous up. 😉

This year I continue to remind myself that yes, spring DOES happen. It does, it does, it does…. eventually….
