Weekly Photo Challenge: LOST IN THE DETAILS (1)

We won’t get caught up in petty details like hot and cold, will we? No, we’ll simply move on and get lost in their manifestations, as here, in the hothouse:

The Tropics in the Hothouse

And here, in the outdoor laboratory of cold:

Wonderful details! I love them both. You have such a great eye for a photo!

  2. tms says:

I love the details in both, and I especially think the composition of the top picture is striking – beautiful, Judith!

  3. pauline says:

Wow! I am always delightfully surprised by your photos. Your takes on the prompts, always outside the banal box, are as sparkly and fresh as your favorite colors!

    • Touch2Touch says:

I was surprised by how often I like to snap “beyond the details” photos.
How are you doing on the Nini Patrol? Not much time for sleeping there!

      • pauline says:

My Nini days are extraordinarily busy. Baby Lily is now rolling over, has four teeth breaking through, is on solid foods and catnaps twenty minutes at a time during the day. The Bean is a very active two-year-old, and a very determined one! We would love to have a visit from you!

      • Touch2Touch says:

Two active girls, neither of whom believes over much in sleep! I wish you strength —
As you know, my winter role model is The Bear who, sensibly, hibernates. When the bears stir, toward the end of this month, I shall no doubt do so too. And then — off to Easthampton. (It is Easthampton, yes?) Meanwhile — onward!

  4. Gemma says:

I am loving the hothouse. Not so much the snow. But both photos rock! 🙂

  5. mightwar says:

I really like the way that you have managed to capture the textures within the details too. Makes me want to touch the images.

  6. Stef says:

I love the texture contrasts within image #1. Wonderful.

I love comments! Thanks for coming by and visiting ---
