Weekly Photo Challenge: HOME

With two feet of snow now heaped in Alps on our lawn, our environs are mainly brown and white. Mostly white. Sometimes, like today, the sun shines brilliantly in a blue sky, providing blessed relief. ย But when the sun doesn’t shine on the somber landscape, then we call on memory for aid.

  2. It’s so hard to imagine what we see outside our windows becomes so lush and green (and colorful) so quickly!

    You are so a “red” person, seeking warmth and sunshine to buoy yourself ๐Ÿ™‚ I am on the cooler spectrum and love the muted winter browns, the soft blue snow shadows, the pure white of a new snowfall. Thanks for the injection of spring, though. I don’t mind waiting but I loved seeing a bit of what I’m waiting for!
