Weekly Photo Challenge: HAPPY

Happiness is: A Boy and his iPad!

At the Apple Store at the Holyoke Mall, right up front across from the Genius Bar (don’t ask), there’s a special low table for little ones, with iPads just waiting to be picked up and played with. And the kids do, oh, do they ever! No hesitation, no fumbling, just pick ’em up and go to it! It’s the future taking shape right before our eyes —

I love the Apple store! It’s cute watching the kids play and how quick they pick it up. I could live in that place. 🙂 Great photo.

Wow – great for the little ones – they have no fear of technology, just get right into it!

    • Touch2Touch says:

And there it is, Barb — I’m so afraid of doing something wrong I get paralyzed —
The kids are fearless and they dive right in. I know this, but I can’t cut through the fear anyway —

It is scary how easily the youngsters get to grip with the tech now isn’t it? I’m still struggling after a good few months!

    • Touch2Touch says:

Kids don’t have anything much to unlearn, so they’re not hampered by outdated assumptions and outmoded methods, etc.
And they don’t have any silly thoughts about being stupid because they have to learn,
they ASSUME they have to learn and it’s okay with them.
Wish I could get back into that innocent state where it’s FUN to experiment!

  5. I’m with Angelia. I love Apple anything! It always amazes me how it all come so natural to kids today. Duh. It is natural to them!
    Cute photo. 🙂 G

It is definitely natural to kids. Somewhere around 15 or 20 years ago, there was a Great Gene Mutation, and anyone born after that knows how to do computers as part of their DNA.
You heard it first right here —

    What a great picture!

  7. My iPad makes me happy too! In fact, I’m settled down right now reading your blog off my iPad with a mug of green tea and am just happy as can be 🙂 Great take on this week’s challenge.
