Weekly Photo Challenge: GROWTH (3)

As citizens of the 21st century (especially those of us who are citizens of the United States) we are powerfully inclined to believe that all growth is unequivocally good. To believe that bigger is automatically and indisputably better.

Well, I have news for us. It isn’t.

Don’t believe me? How about this unvarnished view of growth sideways?

I rest my case.

    I’ve always been of the mind that when you get too big, maintaining that “bigness” becomes more of a priority than the reason you organized to be “big” in the first place. I’m all for small (much of the time).
