Weekly Photo Challenge: HANDS (2)

Again we’re at the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory, only this time hands are occupied, not with iguanas, but with their proper subject — the butterflies!

Just moments before, this one had landed on top of granddaughter Sarah’s hair.

Sarah had mixed feelings about this visitation, so she was cooperative when along came a little butterfly thief and softly, softly coaxed the butterfly onto her own hand and stole it away. Here you see her in triumph:

  5. The butterfly was either attracted by that adorable face or by the butterfly on her shirt. Either way, perfect.

      The butterflies are so accustomed to people that they often land on them — but not on everyone. She WAS adorable.
      But would you believe — till you pointed it out, I didn’t notice that the appliqué on her shirt was A BUTTERFLY!
