Unfocused watery reflections yield what to me are magical results:
and this one, which I call Moiré in the Water:
The water is so soothing, isn’t it?
Thanks very much for your visit, Imelda. Much appreciated.
Both very beautiful!
Thank you, Rebekah!
Monet with a camera! These are beautiful.
I never thought of that — but it certainly is the impressionistic feel!
I love the first picture 🙂
Thanks for the comment and the visit, Jade —
I love images of reflections. The second one is pure magic!
Thanks so much, shellriver — for the kind comment and for your visit. Both are much appreciated!
I see Monet!
There he is, bending over the water, reflecting —
I especially like the second photo. It has so many layers. The blue and back make an interesting design. nice compostion.
To me it’s always suggested a moiré ribbon, or moiré satin fabric — a kind of design in motion, yes, and layers, yes.
Thanks for visiting and commenting, Anne.
Your second pic reminds me of Monet. Stunning.
Thanks, Stef. I kinda like it too — makes my eyes happy.
