A still life for summertime —to be called Arrangement in Straw and Glass:
Too good to spoil by eating!
But I managed to do it anyway!
Absolutely splendid arrangements! I’ve been spying out things since your first arranged post – you have a good eye, my friend!
I thank YOU, my friend.
(I’m taking a Gilbert & Sullivan course right now, and your comment irresistibly reminds me of Katisha, the contralto “heavy” in The Mikado, who remarks — when criticized for her age and ugliness — I have a left shoulderblade that people come from miles about to see.)
This arrangement does look so refreshing, love the straw background with the juicy red tomato!
You got past Cerberus!
Thanks so much for the comment, kind words much appreciated today.
Yum! One of my favorite summer meals, and you captured it fabulously!
A sprinkle of salt, a sprinkle of sugar, a drizzle of OLD balsamic, perhaps a drop or two of strong olive oil —
Looks fantastic. Just missing some mozzarella. 😉
Normally there’d be mozzarella there —
I think this is a simple side tomato salad.
