Weekly Photo Challenge: WINDOWS, 1

This is a souvenir of the late unlamented snowstorm. It was taken in COLOR through the window — that’s all the color there was:

I discover that Windows (no, not the computer system of the same name; I am a proud Apple user and Macperson) has been such a significant theme for me that I’ll be posting a photo a day; so if you tune in some time during the week, glance backwards and visit again for the new posts if you can. I’m always happy to see you here!

Your photograph is stunning! The contrast of the red flowers against the snow is absolutely awesome!

  5. Love the contrast of the red against the white snow. It’s funny the things that draw us in. I love to hear other people’s interests and look forward to seeing more window shots.

  7. Thats a gorgeous shot. I love the contrast and the deep blood red spots of colour that the poppies give.

You could make greeting cards with some of your photos – this one accompanied by a verse of hope or sympathy – would be marvelous!

  9. Poppies – symbols of winter. Kind of appropriate given the early-arriving winter! Great shot!

  10. Symbol of sleep. Meant symbol of sleep. : )
