Weekly Photo Challenge: COMFORT, 3

“When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.”

— Β  Anonymous Fashionista

The solace of many, pulling oneself together, getting up and out and at ’em in the store, warming oneself with a smoking credit card: not necessarily recommended as wise or even efficacious, but certainly a refuge for many, and something that makes our own capitalistic world go around. So here’s a popular comfort target (!):

And here’s the starting gate:

Shoppers, take up your carts —- and SHOP!

No need to push or shove, there’s plenty for everybody!

So of course you know I like this post…. cool images! The marketing department would be very proud! (In fact, consider sending them a link to your post; I bet they’d get a kick out of it.) πŸ™‚

Nice idea – some interesting patterns there πŸ™‚ My wife likes going shopping but always runs out of patience before I do!

    • Touch2Touch says:

Wow! By most women I know you would be considered An Ideal Husband. Most men flee from shop doors before even entering.
On the other hand — when you are so patient, are you shopping for fishing gear or model railroad equipment or techno gadgets? In which case, I can well imagine a wife running out of patience before you do πŸ˜‰

      • 2e0mca says:

Anything really – clothes, shoes, food, you name it (my wife loves collecting shoes)! The only difference between when we go shopping together and when I go alone is that i usually know exactly what I want and where to get it before I set off so lone shopping expeditions are usually brief affairs πŸ˜‰

      • Touch2Touch says:

Your wife, then, belongs to the Serendipity School of Shopping — “I’ll know it when I see it,” or “Surprise me with something unexpected and delightful!”—
I’m a student in the same school. πŸ˜€
You seem to be a switch hitter — you can enjoy the SSS curriculum, and also the SFS — Strict Focus School!

  5. LOL!!! I’m laughing so much I can hardly see the keys to type a comment!! Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚
