Weekly Photo Challenge: Colorful, 2

Not only are the fried fish and the lobster roll and the onion rings and the whole clam bellies delicious — But this roadside outdoor Snack Shack is a wild blaze of COLOR, complete to its “menu”! Quite a sight in the subdued New England landscape—

You’ll see more photos on my other blog, Touch2Touch, in a story-post called Haute Cuisine by the Side of the Road:

  1. Very eye catching! Hope the grub is as good!

      Oh, it is, it is!
The fish tacos are available for viewing on the T2T post link 🙂 One order would have been enough for TWO PEOPLE.
Nice to see you here this morning, thanks for coming by.

  2. Mizz says:

Order me the crab cakes pleaaaasseee!!!

Fun color btw, its gonna be hard to not stopping by at that shop!

    • Touch2Touch says:

Lots of people find it hard not to stop! On a weekend there will be long lines waiting —
But the food’s worth waiting for.
Thanks for your visit and your comment, Mizz.

I’ll take the fish tacos. ‘This and That’. What a great place and great color-full photos.

blueyellowpurple – what’s not to like? One thing I did love about living in the Southwest (I lived a year and a half in New Mexico in the 60s)) were the adobe houses painted in similar colors.

  5. Christine says:

The colors are terrific and the food sounds delish!

  6. barb19 says:

Sure is colourful – couldn’t miss it on the roadside!

    • Touch2Touch says:

No, indeed! I guess that’s why they do it, partly — but they seem to delight in color. The outdoor picnic table tops are also brilliant colors: yellow, royal blue, purple.

  7. Stef says:

These colors scream “beach!” – love it. 🙂

I know! It’s really comic because this is a landlocked area, and the Snack Shack is right on Route 9, a two-lane road, it’s true, but a really busy one with lots of traffic, and nary a sand dune or a wave in sight!!!
It’s a cool place, though. Lots of motorcycles. Once a biker gal drove in in her snappy office trouser suit, sharp looking boots, and a helmet. I was mightily impressed.

  8. Eye catching, fun and beautiful! I would definitely stop by and try it out if I were to pass by this place!

I bet the Tea’s good 🙂 Love those Blues and Yellows!

    • Touch2Touch says:

Hmmmm, Martin — that might be a sucker’s bet? Tea in America at best is fair to middling, and at a place like the Snack Shop I’d be amazed if it were more than iced tea from a mix!
But you know what — next time we go, I’m going to ask!
      Thanks for coming by 🙂

WOW…the colours beckon and the food lures ! A perfect endearing trap 🙂

    Snack Shack rock!

I love comments! Thanks for coming by and visiting ---
