A Root Beer While Waiting: Number

The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is Number, not a very congenial concept for me, who am innumerate (without knowledge in mathematics and arithmetic, yes, it’s really a word).

On the other hand, I know my root beer. And a whole lot about food, and eating, and good restaurants, useful stuff like that —   So here’s a photo at the Side Street Café in Florence, MA, a favorite place, taken while waiting for our lunch orders to arrive. It was a perfect day, a rarity in Western Massachusetts, so we were eating outside on the porch, and the root beer was Virgil’s, and the fried pork loin sandwich was delicious, thanks.

Sounds delish! And a great play on the “number” theme.
Is that your reflection in the glass?

Hmmmm —— all I see is ice cubes.
But if there’s a reflection, yes, it would be me.

The message has been crafted well Judy as I was resentful and wanted to be there drinking root beer and sniffing that rose with you and Frank. Your sense of gratitude for the simple pleasures of life has always been one of the great gifts that you and Frank share, i.e. “the attitude of gratitude.” You have both taught me a great deal! xoxo Bridie’s doing great!

Very cool photo! I like the close-up, “tightness” of it.

I love comments! Thanks for coming by and visiting ---
