Weekly Photo Challenge: LINES

Frank and I went to Tohono Chul Park, Tucson, today.

Tohono Chul means “Desert Corner” in the language of the Tohono O’odham people; and this quite wonderful park is just that — a piece of desert tactfully preserved and enhanced right in the middle of prime Foothills shopping real estate.

Our different choices of subject, our different eyes really are apparent in our entries for this week’s Photo Challenge. Here is Frank’s closeup of a cactus:

And here is my writer’s closeup of letters in the newly added (and thoroughly delightful) Children’s Garden:

Together they go to show the truth of this observation: “Where I stand in the world, no one else stands.”
