Abstraction for the Until-Recently Abstracted —

The big move is over, we are settled in our new home (surrounded by boxes, but never mind that), and beginning to sit up and take nourishment. A final abstraction from me; next up will be some from photographer Martin Greene, so stay tuned —

Meanwhile, can you guess it?

A floor air vent, on which the rust used to make me crazy, but for some reason photographed with this intense blue — Mine not to argue why.

    From http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html:

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. Blue is strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. In heraldry, blue is used to symbolize piety and sincerity.

Blue is also the color of the 5th chakra, responsible for one’s voice (& communication in general). Just a fun (and maybe interesting) tidbit for those of us who express ourselves using many of our different “voices” (i.e., spoken, written, artistic, etc.)
