RX for Winter: Eye Candy #7

Two for the Price of One

Photos taken at the Wesleyan Potters Annual Exhibit, Middletown, CT, and selected to offset today’s white-out:

First, for the brightness, a RED vase. The accomplished consortium that are the Wesleyan Potters work in a range of styles. The polished gleam and more classical style of this one are less usual, though —

More prevalent is a “rougher” Japanese school, which is today’s bonus eye candy. Less colorful, perhaps, but more to my own taste, which leans heavily to wabi-sabi.
